War that we never liked (10 Review Posted)

Nepal has always been in war since its unification, though the war of today and yesterday differs from each other. Today the war is in between the people inside the country. It seems at a peek that everything is right and everything is wrong. read more...

Homicidal, Creepy and Disgusting: Issues of Load Shedding (9 Review Posted)

Electricity in Nepal: Probably the most expensive electricity in the earth but to be sure the most disgusting inappropriate definition in our nation.

Almost all the populations boast about the pride of NEPAL but I guess it’s a nation of false statements. Government says electricity but kids know more facts about load shedding. 100% of the Nepalese territory is a victim of load shedding. read more...

Holi - Festival of Color and Joy (12 Review Posted)

As it was Holi-day, we decided to travel to the main junctions of Pokhara to take some photographs and to witness the activities of the festival. The Annapurna Range was very clear and whitening but its base camp Pokhara was diving within multicolor. Holi, which is also known as Phagu Purnima and falls on late February or on early March, is observed across the Nepal and India with full of joy. read more...

Should prostitution be legalized? (0 Review Posted)

There was a time when people seemed to be pleased with what they were given. People seemed to go out, meet friends, socialize, date and quickly fall into the “serious relationship” category. However, considering the present fact, now it seems people are satisfied with paying for a prostitute. Let’s try and explore every aspect of the “Job”.

In the dictionary a prostitute is said to be “A person who offers sexual intercourse for payment, offer oneself for unworthy purposes.” I have got good and bad views on the subject. read more...

Facing the FACT, Lets BLOG (37 Review Posted)

We Nepalese have the worst reputation in the world. We were having it and we are having it. The person inside Nepal looses charm whereas the Nepalese people overseas losses their identity. Almost every embassy rejects us. We say we are proud to be a Nepalese, but are we? Let's BLOG in this topic and lets discuss how we can improve the wilderness within ourselves. Eagles view of Pokhara from Lukumswara, Pumdi Bhumdi (0 Review Posted)

Traveling is always fun filled, it refreshes our working caliber and it’s more fun filled when we take a trip with our family. We were in our house; we were making momos and gossiping on different topics. In the mean time my sister Sumira was talking about the natural beauty that most of the people in Pokhara boast about. Just after her words, my brother Ravi added, why not have an eagles view of Pokhara from Lukumswara ( I guess he had been there before). read more...

GAIA, the lamb in the valley of delight (0 Review Posted)

Dr. Vlasta Molak, GAIA Foundation, USA (Friend of Pokharacity.com)

It's a gift to be simple, it's a gift to be free, it's a gift to be going where you aught to be, and when you find the place that feels just right, you'll be walking in the valley of joy and delight. This Shaker's melody keeps sounding in my mind, as I walk the rice valley where the buffaloes and horses graze, accompanied by egrets, hawks, and falcons.  This place looks like the paradise in the biblical story and it indeed feels like a paradise. read more...
