Dashain is the longest and is regarded as the most important festival by the Hindu community of Nepal. Dashain has other names like Dasara, Bada Dashain, Vijaya Dashain, Durga Puja, but all these names represent the same festival and the same meaning, i.e. Named after a day of victory over Demons.
Dashain is seen different by different strata of people. For child, it’s a day when they can wear new clothes; eat foods, shopping, etc. Likewise for the adults and elder people it’s a time to meet their relatives and friends. Holidays, shopping, Dashain Bonus, Eating, Visiting relatives, Kites, Tika and warm blessing, Money notes and coins, Cleaning, Puja, Gambling, Faris and Celbration are the main keywords of Dashain.

I don’t have anything special on this Dashain. I am going to celebrate it like usual, like going to meet relatives, getting best wishes from elders and passing best wishes to younger through Tika. In short, I am going to celebrate it traditionally like previous years.

I don’t feel much excitement to celebrate this Dashain due to the change of date of the election of constitutional assembly. If the election were held in its normal day i.e on 6th Mangsir, then people like me would have celebrated Dashain in more excitement. So, I am going to celebrate it like usual way

coz we r in the abroad. we cannot celebrate like in nepal.... because off all this is by the nepal politics . why we r on abroad? all the reason is bad politicis of nepal. if they make different nepal new nepal no need to depend on foreign country for us so plz i wanna give suggestion to all politician leader just make new nepal not for u just for us plz plz........
