Mountain Guide and climber Pasang Namgyal Sherpa has successfully scaled five mountain peaks more than 8,000 m of height, till the date. Solukhumbu Khumjung based Sherpa expressed his experiences with us:

How difficult task is the mountaineering?
It's really a challenging task but it could be easy if the team members coordinate each other and don't fall ill.

What do you like to comment about the Annapurna Region from the mountaineering point of view?
Most of the things in Annapurna Region are supportive but I found little bit difficulty in the accommodation part especially in the upper part of this region.

What could the government do to promote the mountaineering in Nepal?
Government should focus its concern towards the rescue of mountaineering crews and the provision of insurance especially of porters in the expedition team. Helicopters should be put ready each and every time. The royalty of expedition should also be reduced.

How many mountain guides are there in Nepal?
There are more than 400 mountain guides in Nepal but few of them are not fully active.

Could you tell us the few names of those peaks that you scaled?
They are Mt Everest, Alung Khang, Mt Shishapangma, Flhoche Syar South Face, Chhochu and Amadablam.
