What are you tourism entrepreneurs doing in this off-season? Actually we are waiting for the upcoming season and preparing ourselves. Cleaning and painting as well as mending works also are being in our hotel and restaurant buildings.
Could you tell us how is the booking rate for upcoming season? The scenario is not pessimistic; we are very much hopeful for the coming season. I guess 20 percent of our rooms have been booked so far.
Are there any new packages for them who are coming Pokhara as tourits? Since we are now celebrating Visit Pokhara Year (VPY) 2007, tourists can enjoy the packages that have been developed under VPY.
You mentioned about VPY; it is heard that there is corruption and irregularities in VPY, could you clarify it, since you are also the treasurer of this project? It is wrong what rumor is being aired. All the account of VPY is very clear and everybody can know about it from our office. The rumor erupted because of the lack of coordination between the Nepal Tourism Board Kathmandu and the Pokhara office of VPY.
People say that you entrepreneurs always make higher-class speeches rather than practical work, why is it so? It is wrong to say so because we have been doing very much promotional campaigns and programs for the development of overall tourism of Pokhara. We are now planning to go out of Pokhara with promotional programs. Source : recentfusion
VPY is a surprise package for the Pokhrelis..No one was prepared for it.The enterprenuers had to go with the commands of the tourism board...They shld hv discussed dis project with the local tourism enterprenuers...we are making fool of oursleves..nothing was mentioned of it in the media until it hit 1st Jan 2007.Dnt waste money around to fool around...
Whatever developed Technology around world but Local people is local people.if he can not progreess about tourisam local area and all over nepal.we must have to suggest to him and give more better idea. Local people knows more traditional identify of country,in my opinion pokhara hotel association need a man strong with his local mind,high technology quallified and know value of mountain life.SO MAY BE HE CAN BE A GOOD MAN FOR THIS POST.however if he used his mind for new pacakge system would be nice. I mean yedi jimewar manche le kehi garna sacdaina bhanee tyo manche post ma basna suhauunnna ....and man we heard that basundhara park developed garne bhanera dherai buget aako cha re k hudaicha ....ki tyo pani utilize na bahi safe mai cha surachit......plz make our pokhara, developed lakeside and developed basundhara park as a park ....if u guys dont know how to do than plz mail me i have a master plan about basundhara park .( low budget ma thulo yojana).plz mail me ......i luv nepal i luv pokhara....

we know he is an entrepreneur...but don't think he has got any idea about tourism....hospitality business....Visit Year has been taken as a joke by these associates... they just declared VPY without any readiness to attract and welcome tourists from all over the world...a lot of promotional programmes should be observed... we are also well acquainted with the present condition of nepal...not in favor of tourism growth...in my opinion VPY should have been waited for some more years for its phenomenal success....Basu tripathi...the co-ordinator of VPY mentioned that it shall be extended for next year too under cirsumstances...it might be of less meaning for the tourists if events like these are often launched...think it's better to think about a new plan...there is no doubt that pokhara is a perfect tourist destination...you people are responsible for the solution of the factors interrupting the tourism....as Mr .Basu has talked about the internal tourism...it's the matter where you people should put all the strength in...there are a lot of rumors like the Nepalese tourists are discriminated and should pay more than the foreigners do...yeah that's a truth.....a quality service and equality is prefered by internal tourists too.....'Service is made up of the equal and high quality service for all the guests despite of their nationility and their contribution(payment)'....... HEY LAXMI BAHADUR BHATTARA ! you can go out of pokhara with internet. Don't you know technology? it is not necessary for yourself to go out of pokhara. use recent media to pollute the air with the plus points of pokhara. thats the perfect advertisement. You sit in your hotel and do good business.
Don't belive any progress form this type of people. they dont know any idea to promot torism. they like to stick in chair for their business card only.
the questiona are all right and the ansewrs are all wrong so we hope we should use truth robot to testify the neplese business amn testimonial on developocracy or unde velopocracy if everybody is a awesome our nepal would have been switzerland these people are thugs
