A day before Miss Tourism Nepal 2007

We (Ram Dai and me) were really excited when Bikram dai phoned us to join him on the photo session of the participants of Miss Tourism Nepal 2007. We loaded our bags with everything that is needed for a photo session. We rode to the destination on our bikes. We had no trouble finding the participants as they were busy giving interview to Golden Eye Television (Pokhara's local TV Channel). We could see that everyone was excited and ready to compete for a crown.
We went upstairs to meet Bikram dai. He welcomed us with a warm smile. He had kept his DSLR camera and laptop ready for the photo session. Soon choreographer Prabha Amatya joined us. Then, the scheduled photo session program started.
The first photo session was of Kunchhang Moktan, Contestant No 1. She walked into the corridor with a big smile on her face. She seemed to be excited about the photo session. She was wearing a black outfit and believe me she looked gorgeous on that dress. She too looked confident and for a moment we felt like she is the one to haunt the crown. Bikram dai was doing the dual task of choreographer and a cameraman. I took out my DSLR camera as I couldn’t resist shooting pictures of these beautiful girls. Soon my excitement turned into frustration as there was some problem with my camera. Anyway, it was really fun to watch the girl’s action in front of the camera. Everyone wanted to give or take the best shot.
After the lunch, we decided to do the rest of photo session beside the swimming pool site. I again tried my camera and I was glad it was working fine this time. There, we serially took picture of every girl. The friendship between the participants really impressed me. It seemed they weren’t part of the same race. We were really impressed with the choreography work of Prabha Amatya and Bikram dai and thankful to them too for giving us an opportunity to join their photo session program.
