Check these snaps to see what the real mountains are. Unlike the tiny Swiss Alps of 3000m, these Himalayan Mountains are 8000m tall. Pokhara is a place where you find heaven in Earth.

Pokhara is the second largest city in Nepal. It serves as one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal. Three out of the ten highest mountains in the world – Dhaulagiri, Annapurna 1st and Manaslu are situated within linear distance of the city. The northern view of the city offers you the very close view of the Himalayas.

Pokhara is a place that is lively with several entertaining activities. You can fly in a chopper and see others flying without any engine. They call it paragliding. You can see vultures coordinating with the Para gliders and they call it parahawking.

The rivers are pristine and flow into deep gorges straight from the mountains. You can see people playing and struggling with the rivers and they call it kayaking.

The lakes have other entertaining agendas. Fewa Lake serves as the most happening place in Pokhara with several food outlets and accommodation facilities. You can see people from around the world wandering around and having fun.

Including these there are several other charms within Pokhara that I want you to see and feel with the photos below. I present you Pokhara with its vibes.
