We were shocked to see a group of young boys using Maine’s Outdoor Adventure Resort’s raft to do fishing through electric shock in Trisuli river. It is illegal to use such method to do fishing as it kills the young fish too and will decrease the population of the fish in the river dramatically. We were more surprised to see a Resort letting these boys to use their raft for such an illegal activity. More than that, the young boys weren’t using any safety measures while sailing on this raft.
This is something we need to protest, if we want to preserve fresh water fish species in our rivers.
